Anti-Interleukin-8 Antibody

Targeting the pro-inflammatory chemokine CXCL8, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied as a 100 µg aliquot for detection of endogenous human Interleukin-8. The reagent supports Western blot analysis of cell lysates and immunohistochemistry localization of the cytokine in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections, where it can be paired with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated anti-rabbit secondary reagents for chromogenic or fluorescent readout.

Because IL-8 orchestrates neutrophil chemotaxis and activation during acute injury, microbial infection, and chronic inflammatory disease, this reagent is commonly deployed in studies of neutrophil-driven pathologies, including acute respiratory distress, rheumatoid synovitis, psoriasis, and tumor-microenvironment inflammation.
