Clone 23 is a Mouse monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com raised against human Interferon gamma, the signature Th1 cytokine that drives macrophage activation, antigen presentation, and cellular immunity against intracellular pathogens. The antibody is supplied as 100 µg of lyophilised IgG1 in an unconjugated format, ready for reconstitution to whatever working concentration the end user's protocol requires.

Validated for ELISA, the reagent recognizes native human IFN-gamma and supports quantitative work in cell culture supernatant and other research specimens. Researchers also adapt it for custom antibody pair development, Western blot confirmation of recombinant standards, and immunohistochemistry on activated lymphoid tissue.

Handling guidance: store the lyophilised vial refrigerated and protected from light until first use, then reconstitute in sterile buffer, aliquot, and freeze for long-term stability. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. Because the product is unconjugated, it can be labelled with HRP, biotin, or a fluorophore of choice, and the Mouse IgG1 framework pairs cleanly with standard anti-mouse secondary reagents across most immunoassay platforms.
