Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent raised in rabbit against Integrin β5, a transmembrane glycoprotein that heterodimerizes with integrin αV to form the αVβ5 receptor. This vitronectin-binding adhesion molecule is widely studied in the context of angiogenesis, wound healing, epithelial cell migration, and viral entry mechanisms, where the αVβ5 complex serves as a receptor for certain pathogens via RGD-dependent recognition.

Validated for western blot and ELISA workflows, the unconjugated antibody recognizes the target across human, mouse, rat, and monkey samples, supporting cross-species experimental design. The polyclonal format delivers recognition of multiple epitopes on the cytoplasmic and extracellular regions of Integrin β5, which is useful for tracking expression changes in signaling studies, receptor trafficking assays, and investigations into fibronectin- and vitronectin-mediated adhesion cascades.

Each vial contains 100 µl of liquid antibody preparation. For short-term use, aliquot and store at 4°C; for longer storage, keep frozen at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve reagent performance. Protect from light when not in use.

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for research use only.
