This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets Integrin β3 (ITGB3, CD61), a transmembrane cell-surface adhesion receptor best known for pairing with integrin αIIb to form the platelet fibrinogen receptor αIIbβ3, and with αv to form the vitronectin receptor αvβ3. Raised in Rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, the antibody is validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows against human samples, supporting studies of platelet aggregation, angiogenesis, osteoclast-mediated bone resorption, and tumor cell adhesion and metastasis. Because β3 integrin signaling interfaces with pathways such as PI3K/Akt and FAK in endothelial and tumor cells, researchers working on Glanzmann thrombasthenia models, anti-angiogenic screening, or integrin-targeted drug discovery commonly use this reagent to monitor receptor expression and downstream phosphorylation events.
