Raised in mice and directed against the N-terminal region of human Integrin α3 (ITGA3), this unconjugated monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of purified immunoglobulin in 0.1 M Tris-glycine buffer (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. ITGA3 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that pairs with integrin β1 to form the α3β1 heterodimer, a laminin-binding adhesion receptor expressed on epithelial cells and implicated in basement membrane anchoring, cytoskeletal organization, and downstream signaling through FAK and PI3K.

Validated for Western blot (WB) detection of human samples, the reagent offers flexibility to pair with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary antibodies depending on the chosen imaging or detection platform. Common research applications include profiling α3β1 expression in normal and transformed epithelia, mapping laminin adhesion in renal and pulmonary tissues, and probing the contribution of ITGA3 to cancer cell migration, invasion, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Useful positive controls include lysates from A431, HeLa, or HEK293 cells, which express detectable endogenous ITGA3. For best results, store the vial at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
