This recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody targets Integrin β1 (also known as CD29), a transmembrane glycoprotein that pairs with more than a dozen alpha subunits to form heterodimeric receptors responsible for cell adhesion to extracellular matrix proteins such as fibronectin, collagen, and laminin. Distributed by Antibodies.com, the reagent is supplied as a 100 µl liquid formulation in TBS pH 7.4 supplemented with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative.

The antibody has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry workflows, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species studies of focal adhesion signaling, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, angiogenesis, and stem cell biology. For long-term use, store at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the glycerol component of the buffer helps minimize ice crystal damage during frozen storage.

Because Integrin β1 sits at the intersection of mechanical and biochemical signaling pathways through its cytoplasmic tail and its association with FAK, Src, and ILK effectors, this reagent is frequently used in research on wound healing, tumor invasion, fibrotic disease, and immune cell trafficking. The unconjugated format allows end users to couple it directly to fluorophores, biotin, HRP, or gold conjugates depending on the downstream assay.
