Targeted to two kinase-activation-loop phosphotyrosines in a single blot, this rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com resolves phospho-INSR (Y1146) and phospho-IGF1R (Y1131) side-by-side from the same lysate. Each residue maps within the catalytic domain of its respective receptor tyrosine kinase, so the antibody reports ligand-driven insulin and IGF-1 signaling in parallel and supports comparison of relative activation between the two receptors without splitting the sample. The reagent is supplied unconjugated at 100 µL per vial and is validated for Western blot on human, mouse, and rat samples. Aliquot on first thaw and store at -20 °C in a frost-free freezer, protected from light, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve the phospho-epitope. Dilute into BSA or non-fat milk blocking buffer, then pair with an HRP- or IRDye-labelled secondary for chemiluminescent or near-infrared fluorescence detection on the same membrane. After imaging, strip and reprobe for total INSR or IGF1R to normalize phospho-signal against receptor loading, which is the standard quantitative workflow for insulin/IGF pathway studies, metabolic-disease models, and receptor-tyrosine-kinase signaling research.
