Polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against Inhibin beta-A (INHBA), a member of the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily that dimerizes to form activin A and pairs with the inhibin alpha subunit to constitute inhibin A. This unconjugated primary reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 100 µl volume for use in western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence procedures with human samples.

The target protein supports pituitary follicle-stimulating hormone regulation, gonadal steroidogenesis, and tissue patterning, with prominent expression in ovarian granulosa cells, testicular Sertoli and Leydig cells, the adrenal cortex, and anterior pituitary. INHBA immunohistochemistry has been used by research groups to characterize granulosa cell tumors, sex cord-stromal tumors of the ovary and testis, and selected adrenocortical and pituitary neoplasms, providing pathologists with a marker that helps distinguish these lesions from morphologic mimics. The rabbit polyclonal host reagent and unconjugated format suit both manual chromogenic staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections and fluorescent immunoblot detection of cell or tissue lysates, offering flexibility across research and translational laboratory workflows.
