This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com specifically detects the inhibin beta A subunit (INHBA), a transforming growth factor-beta superfamily member that homodimerizes into activin A or pairs with the inhibin alpha subunit to form inhibin A. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl vial, the antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting research into reproductive biology, follicle development, and tumor biology where altered INHBA expression has been documented in ovarian, gastric, and colorectal cancer. Researchers can use it to investigate activin signaling pathways, map tissue-specific expression in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections, or confirm protein-level changes in lysates from cell culture and in vivo models. For long-term storage, keep at -20°C; aliquot on first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light if pairing with fluorescent secondary antibodies.
