Anti-INHA Antibody

In Western blot, the antibody recognizes the mature inhibin alpha chain and the larger pro-alpha precursor, while immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed sections produces cytoplasmic staining in ovarian granulosa cells, testicular Sertoli cells, and adrenal cortex. Validated applications are WB and IHC.

Because the antigen belongs to the TGF-beta superfamily, the reagent is useful for studies of gonadal function, follicle development, and tumor pathology research, including granulosa cell tumors and adrenocortical neoplasms where inhibin alpha serves as a diagnostic immunohistochemical marker. Unconjugated format allows flexible reporter selection, and the glycerol-containing buffer supports storage at -20 °C with minimal freeze-thaw damage.
