Anti-Influenza B Virus Antibody

The antibody is produced in Mouse and offered as a Protein A purified, unconjugated IgG2b monoclonal (clone B017 (B35G)) supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline at 1 mg/ml. Validated applications include Western Blot (WB), ELISA, and Immunofluorescence (IF/IFA), with reactivity confirmed against Influenza B Virus and no cross-reactivity to Influenza A viruses noted in the lineage panels described. The immunogen was prepared from the classical Influenza B strains B/Lee/40 and B/Singapore/-222/79, and the reagent is intended for use as a typing reagent, for example in influenza B IFA workflows run alongside companion clones such as B114. For the 1 mg pack size, the antibody is shipped at ambient temperature and should be aliquoted upon arrival: short term storage at 4 °C is acceptable for up to four weeks, while long term storage is recommended at -20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
