The Antibodies.com anti-Influenza A Virus Nucleoprotein monoclonal antibody (clone C43) is a mouse IgG2a reagent directly conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP), supporting direct detection in western blot, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows without a secondary antibody step. The C43 clone targets a highly conserved internal epitope of the influenza A nucleoprotein (NP), the ~56 kDa viral structural protein that encapsidates the segmented RNA genome, and shows broad cross-reactivity across influenza A subtypes including H1N1, H3N2, H5N1, and H7N9 isolates used in surveillance and pathogenesis studies.

Supplied as 50 µg of liquid antibody in a single vial, this HRP conjugate should be stored refrigerated at 2-8 °C protected from light; sodium azide inhibits peroxidase activity and must not be added to diluents, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided. Suggested working dilutions range from 1:500 to 1:5000 for western blot and immunohistochemistry depending on antigen abundance. For research use only.
