IMPDH1 (inosine-5'-monophosphate dehydrogenase 1) catalyzes the rate-limiting oxidation of IMP to XMP in the de novo guanine nucleotide biosynthesis pathway, making it a target of interest in studies of nucleotide metabolism, lymphocyte proliferation, and the mechanism of action of immunosuppressive drugs such as mycophenolic acid. Mutations in the IMPDH1 gene are also linked to RP10, an autosomal dominant form of retinitis pigmentosa, so the protein is frequently examined in photoreceptor survival and retinal degeneration models.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against IMPDH1 and has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). It cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work across cell lines, tissue specimens, and animal model systems. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of antiserum and is suitable for researchers investigating purine biosynthesis, transplant pharmacology, and ophthalmic disease mechanisms, as well as studies of antiviral and antileukemic drug action.
