This mouse monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes human IMP3 (insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA-binding protein 3), an oncofetal RNA-binding protein that is largely silent in adult tissues but re-expressed in many malignancies. Supplied by Antibodies.com as a purified IgG1 clone in a buffered solution of 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4) and 150 mM NaCl with 0.2% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent is provided as 100 µl per vial and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous IMP3 in human cell and tissue lysates.

IMP3 immunoreactivity has been studied extensively as a marker that helps distinguish malignant from benign lesions in pancreatic, lung, colorectal, gastric, ovarian, and renal cancers, making this unconjugated primary antibody a useful tool for oncology research workflows that probe tumor-associated gene expression at the protein level. Store the vial at -20 °C, protect from light, and dispense into single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the sodium azide preservative makes the formulation unsuitable for direct use in live-cell assays.
