Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against integrin-linked kinase (ILK) and is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The immunogen is a recombinant human ILK protein, and the antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using that immunogen, ensuring selective recognition of endogenous total ILK in cell and tissue lysates. The target, a 59 kDa serine/threonine protein kinase also referred to as ILK-1, ILK-2, p59ILK, or integrin-linked protein kinase, is detected across human, mouse, and rat samples, making the reagent broadly useful for cross-species studies. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and the unconjugated format gives researchers full flexibility to pair the antibody with their preferred secondary detection chemistries. The product is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. For routine handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. With consistent lot-to-lot performance and a polyclonal response that improves the chance of detecting ILK even when expression is low or the protein is partially degraded, this Antibodies.com antibody is well suited to signalling, adhesion, and cytoskeletal research workflows where reliable ILK detection is essential.
