Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) is a serine/threonine protein kinase that localizes to focal adhesions and transduces signals from the extracellular matrix through integrin engagement. This rabbit polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, recognizes ILK across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies of cell adhesion, migration, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and PI3K/Akt pathway activity in cancer and cardiovascular research contexts.

The reagent is formulated at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is provided as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated antibody for direct labeling in custom assays. Validated applications include western blot detection of the ~51 kDa ILK band and immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections, where the polyclonal mixture helps amplify signal at endogenous expression levels. Aliquoting upon first use and storage at -20°C in a frost-free freezer preserves activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles; refrigerated storage at 4°C is acceptable for working dilutions during short-term bench use.

Because the antibody is unconjugated, researchers can pair it with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore conjugates of their choosing, making it a flexible primary reagent for western blot, immunoprecipitation, and chromogenic or fluorescent immunohistochemistry workflows.
