This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes Interleukin Enhancer-Binding Factor 3 (ILF3), a double-stranded RNA-binding protein involved in transcriptional regulation, mRNA stabilization, and translational control. ILF3, also known as NF90, is expressed as longer and shorter isoforms generated by alternative splicing and continuously shuttles between the nucleus and cytoplasm; the protein redistributes during viral infection, cellular stress, and certain cytokine responses, where it modulates the expression of genes such as IL-2.

Each vial supplies 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at roughly pH 7.2. The antibody is unconjugated and has been validated for Western blot detection of endogenous ILF3 in lysates derived from human, mouse, and rat samples. For routine western blot workflows, aliquot the antibody upon arrival and store refrigerated to limit freeze-thaw cycles, while sodium azide in the buffer prevents microbial contamination during handling.

Researchers investigating dsRNA signaling, virus-host interactions, microRNA biogenesis, or post-transcriptional RNA-binding protein biology can use this primary antibody to follow ILF3 expression and subcellular distribution across model systems. Cross-reactivity against the human, murine, and rat orthologs extends the reagent's utility to comparative studies and supports its use as a primary detection reagent in immunoblotting experiments examining innate immunity pathways.
