Anti-IL8 Antibody [807] - Identical to Abcam (ab18672)

A mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 807) directed against human IL-8, supplied by Antibodies.com as a lyophilised preparation. The reagent is of the IgG1 isotype and is unconjugated. It is validated for use in ELISA and Western blot and reacts with human samples. The antibody recognises both recombinant and native human IL-8, with purified recombinant human IL-8 used as the immunogen. Specificity testing indicates that the antibody does not cross-react with human Monocyte Chemotactic Activating Factor (MCAF) or RANTES (Regulated on Activation, Normal T-cell Expressed, and Secreted). The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and is lyophilised from a 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline solution at pH 7.0. It is reconstituted with double distilled water, with the working concentration being reconstitution dependent.

The antibody is shipped at 4 °C and, upon delivery, aliquoted and stored at -20 °C. Freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
