Anti-IL6 Antibody [9D8]

From Antibodies.com, this mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 9D8) is raised against IL6 and is validated for use in ELISA applications. It is of the IgG2a isotype and is provided unconjugated, reacting with human samples.

The antibody is supplied in lyophilised form, prepared from a 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline solution at pH 7.0, and was generated using purified recombinant human IL-6 as the immunogen. Purification is performed via Protein G affinity chromatography. The concentration is reconstitution dependent.

For storage, the product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Reconstitution is carried out using double distilled water. The antibody recognises the F0 epitope.
