Anti-IL6 Antibody [6D7]

A Mouse monoclonal IgG1 reagent from Antibodies.com (clone 6D7) recognises human Interleukin-6, a pleiotropic cytokine central to inflammation, acute phase responses, B-cell maturation, and T-cell differentiation. Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 100 µg vial, the unconjugated antibody allows custom coupling to HRP, biotin, fluorophores, or solid-phase supports for immunoassay development.

The clone detects the native human IL-6 protein and is listed for ELISA use. Research applications include measurement of cytokine release from stimulated peripheral blood mononuclear cells, macrophages, and fibroblasts, as well as studies of autoimmune pathology, tumour microenvironment signalling, and inflammatory disease models.

Reconstitute the lyophilised pellet in sterile distilled water or PBS to the working concentration required by your protocol. Refrigerate the lyophilised powder and protect from light; after reconstitution, aliquot and store frozen to limit freeze-thaw damage and preserve binding activity.
