Produced in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent targets the alpha chain of the interleukin-3 receptor (IL3RA, also called CD123), the cytokine-binding subunit that pairs with the common beta chain to form the high-affinity IL-3 receptor on hematopoietic progenitors, plasmacytoid dendritic cells, and certain leukemic blasts.

Validated for Western Blot (WB), the antibody recognizes endogenous IL3RA in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative studies of cytokine receptor signaling, hematopoiesis, and CD123-overexpressing malignancies such as acute myeloid leukemia. The unconjugated Ig is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide as a preservative (approximately pH 7.2), and is shipped as a 100 µl vial ready for immediate immunoblotting of whole-cell lysates.

For short-term handling, keep the vial refrigerated between uses and avoid freeze-thaw cycles by preparing single-use aliquots; the sodium azide content makes this format inappropriate for direct in vivo administration. Researchers studying stem cell self-renewal, basophil activation, or blast cell surface marker profiling routinely deploy polyclonal IL3RA reagents to confirm receptor expression across model systems.
