Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a research-grade primary antibody, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets IL2RA (also known as CD25, the interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain) and is supplied at 50 µl per vial. The antibody is unconjugated and formulated at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at around pH 7.3, making it ready to dilute directly into Western Blot (WB) workflows. Verified reactivity covers human, mouse, and rat samples, while the polyclonal nature of the reagent allows recognition of multiple epitopes on the IL2RA target, and affinity purification gives an estimated purity of greater than 95%. With its unconjugated format, the antibody is suitable for users who wish to apply their own HRP, fluorophore, or biotin labels, or to use it in standard immunoblotting detection systems. The product is sold for Research Use Only and is intended for laboratory investigation of IL2RA expression in cell and tissue lysates rather than for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Host species is rabbit and the antibody is presented as a liquid product suitable for short-term storage at 2–8 °C and long-term storage at –20 °C in aliquots to minimise freeze–thaw cycles, in line with typical handling of PBS-based polyclonal preparations containing sodium azide. The reagent is well suited to western blot detection of endogenous IL2RA levels across the three validated species, supporting comparative studies of T-cell activation, regulatory T-cell biology, and interleukin-2 signalling in immunology, transplantation, and autoimmunity research programmes.
