Raised in rabbit against the human IL2RA target (also known as CD25, the alpha chain of the interleukin-2 receptor), this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH approximately 7.3, with 0.05% sodium azide added as a preservative. The immunogen-derived reagent recognises IL2RA across human, mouse and rat samples, making it a practical reagent for comparative work in cell and tissue lysates from multiple model organisms.

Validated for Western Blot, the antibody is suited to detecting endogenous CD25 expression in lymphocyte populations such as activated T cells and Foxp3+ regulatory T cells (Tregs), where IL2RA serves as a defining surface and intracellular marker. Because the reagent is unconjugated, it pairs cleanly with user-chosen HRP, biotin, or fluorophore secondary antibodies in WB workflows, supporting flexibility in detection chemistry and exposure conditions.

The polyclonal format offers broad epitope coverage on the IL2RA extracellular domain, and the cross-species reactivity profile (human, mouse, rat) allows the same lot to be used across rodent preclinical samples and human specimen-derived material. Brief storage at 2–8 °C in the supplied PBS formulation is appropriate for routine short-term use; for longer intervals, aliquoting and freezing at -20 °C preserves activity and limits repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the stock.
