The target protein IL2R, also called CD25, is the alpha subunit of the high-affinity interleukin-2 receptor complex and a defining surface marker of activated T lymphocytes and CD4+ regulatory T cells (Tregs). This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified for use in western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat specimens. It is supplied at 50 µl per vial in an unconjugated format, which lets investigators choose their own secondary detection system, whether HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-based, and run chromogenic, fluorescent, or amplified staining protocols as their experiment requires. The antibody is suited to immunology, transplant, and autoimmunity research workflows, including profiling CD25 expression on lymphocyte subsets, mapping receptor distribution across lymphoid and inflamed tissues, and probing IL-2 signaling components in lysates from cultured immune cell lines. As an unconjugated primary antibody it integrates readily into established WB and IHC pipelines and pairs with standard anti-rabbit secondary reagents for flexible assay design.
