This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets IL27RA (Interleukin-27 receptor subunit alpha), a type I cytokine receptor that associates with gp130 to form the functional IL-27 receptor complex. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.10, and is packaged as a 100 µl vial suitable for multiple western blot experiments.

IL27RA is broadly expressed across immune cell populations, including naive and memory CD4+ T cells, B lymphocytes, natural killer cells, monocytes, and dendritic cells. Through IL-27 binding it activates JAK/STAT signaling, primarily STAT1 and STAT3, contributing to Th1 differentiation, regulation of inflammatory responses, and resolution of immune activation. Reactivity has been validated against human, mouse, and rat samples.

Researchers use this polyclonal reagent to investigate IL-27 pathway involvement in autoimmune disease models, infectious disease responses, tumor microenvironment immunology, and cytokine signaling studies. The rabbit host origin and polyclonal clonality provide recognition of multiple epitopes on IL27RA, supporting reproducible detection across immunoblotting workflows.
