Anti-IL2 Antibody [8C2]

Produced in mouse as an IgG1 monoclonal, this unconjugated antibody binds the human cytokine interleukin-2 (IL2), a 15-16 kDa lymphocyte growth factor central to T-cell expansion and immune homeostasis. Supplied by Antibodies.com as a lyophilised 100 µg preparation, the 8C2 clone is validated for ELISA-based detection of native and recombinant human IL2.

Researchers studying Treg biology, adoptive T-cell therapy, or inflammatory signalling can use this reagent to measure IL2 release in cell-culture supernatants and conditioned media. Reconstitute in sterile buffer before use to preserve binding activity; aliquot and store refrigerated for routine work, or freeze for longer-term stability.
