Anti-IL1B Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody recognises IL-1 beta (IL1B) and is supplied unconjugated as a liquid preparation. Raised in rabbit, it is validated for Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and ELISA applications and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1-269 of human IL-1 beta. The product is formulated in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.09% sodium azide, and is affinity purified. Reported molecular weights are 17 kDa and 35 kDa, with a predicted molecular weight of 31 kDa.

Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500-1:1,000 for WB, 1:50-1:200 for ICC/IF, and 1 µg/ml for ELISA. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
