Anti-IL16 Antibody [568]

This Mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com (clone 568) targets IL-16 and is supplied unconjugated. It is of the IgG2a isotype and validated for ELISA and Western blot applications, reacting with human samples.

The antibody was raised against purified recombinant human IL-16 and recognises both natural and recombinant human IL-16. In cross-reactivity testing, it does not recognise human serum albumin, bovine serum albumin, IL-1ß, IL-8, IL-7 MCAF, TGF-ß1, EGF, bFGF, GM-CSF, M-CSF or TNF-a. The epitope is reported as Sp2/0-Ag14, and the antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.

The product is supplied lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2 and should be reconstituted with double distilled water. It is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery, aliquot and store at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
