Anti-IL16 Antibody [210]

Mouse monoclonal antibody [210] from Antibodies.com directed against IL16, supplied as a lyophilised preparation. The antibody is of the IgG2a isotype, unconjugated, and raised in a mouse host using purified recombinant human IL-16 as the immunogen. The hybridoma was derived using the Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cell line.

Validated for ELISA and reactive with human samples, the reagent recognises both natural and recombinant human IL-16. Cross-reactivity testing shows it does not recognise human serum albumin, bovine serum albumin, IL-1ß, IL-8, IL-7, MCAF, TGF-ß1, EGF, bFGF, GM-CSF, M-CSF and TNF-a. The antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and is lyophilised from a solution of 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2. Concentration is reconstitution dependent.

The product is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. For use, it is reconstituted with double distilled water.
