Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the human Interleukin-12 receptor beta-1 subunit (IL12RB1) and is validated for Western blotting and immunofluorescence applications. The antibody detects endogenous levels of total IL12RB1 and was generated using a recombinant human IL12RB1 protein as the immunogen, followed by affinity purification using that same immunogen. It is supplied as 50 µl of unconjugated antiserum at a working concentration of 1 mg/ml, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and 50% glycerol. Recommended storage is at –20 °C, and the reagent is sold for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Reactivity has been confirmed against human samples, with antibody performance demonstrated in extracts of various human cell lines by Western blot and in A549 cells by immunofluorescence (with DAPI counterstain for nuclear visualisation). The host species is Rabbit, the clonality is Polyclonal, and the conjugate state is Unconjugated, giving laboratories flexibility to attach their own reporters or to use it directly in chromogenic and fluorescence-based assays. This makes the reagent well suited to studies of IL-12/IL-23 signalling, Th1 lymphocyte differentiation, and investigation of genetic susceptibility to intracellular pathogens such as mycobacteria.
