IL12RB1 (Interleukin-12 Receptor Subunit Beta 1) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that pairs with IL12RB2 to assemble the high-affinity IL-12 receptor and with IL23R to form the IL-23 receptor, triggering JAK-STAT signaling that drives Th1 differentiation and interferon-gamma production in activated lymphocytes. Loss-of-function mutations in IL12RB1 are a recognized cause of Mendelian susceptibility to mycobacterial disease (MSMD), which is why reliable immunological tools against this subunit remain in active demand for primary immunodeficiency and infectious disease research.

This Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against the human IL12RB1 target and is supplied in an unconjugated format at 100 µl per vial, optimized for western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. Researchers can deploy it on activated T cells, NK cells, macrophages, and dendritic cell preparations to localize receptor expression at the plasma membrane, or to assess IL-12/IL-23 axis activity in signaling studies. Because the reagent is polyclonal, it is more likely to recognize multiple epitopes across the receptor ectodomain and intracellular tail, an advantage when working with patient-derived primary cells or CRISPR-edited lines where expression levels can vary between biological samples.
