The polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com targets the alpha subunit of the interleukin-10 receptor (IL10RA), a type I transmembrane protein that mediates the immunosuppressive signaling of IL-10 in immune cells. Raised in rabbit and supplied as 200 µl of unconjugated antiserum, the antibody is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples.
Researchers studying cytokine signaling, macrophage polarization, mucosal immunity, and inflammatory disease models use IL10RA immunolabeling to map receptor distribution on lymphoid tissue, intestinal epithelium, and tumor infiltrates, or to track STAT3 phosphorylation downstream of receptor engagement. The polyclonal format, with multiple epitope recognition, supports detection of native and denatured receptor in fixed and frozen tissue sections, enabling both chromogenic IHC and immunofluorescent co-localization experiments.
