Produced in rabbit hosts as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, this Antibodies.com primary antibody targets the human interleukin-7 receptor alpha chain (IL-7Rα, also known as CD127), a type I transmembrane protein that mediates signaling critical for lymphocyte survival and development. The 100 µl vial is validated for western blot and ELISA workflows, making it a practical choice for laboratories characterizing T-cell biology, immune receptor expression, or downstream JAK-STAT signaling pathways. Because IL-7R expression is dynamically regulated on developing and mature T cells, this reagent supports studies of naive versus memory CD4+ and CD8+ T cell populations, as well as research into lymphopenia, autoimmune disease, and lymphoid malignancies where IL-7R signaling has been implicated. Researchers can use it to probe IL-7R in cell lysates by western blot or to evaluate receptor levels in ELISA-based assays.
