Anti-IL-6Rα Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the Interleukin-6 Receptor alpha subunit (IL-6Rα) and is offered as a 50 µL aliquot at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography and is supplied unconjugated in a liquid PBS buffer containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. It is intended for the detection of endogenous IL-6Rα in human samples and has been validated in ELISA and Western Blot (WB) applications; a representative blot performed on AD293 and 4T1 cell lysates is provided by the supplier as a usage reference. The immunogen corresponds to a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human IL-6Rα. For routine handling, vials are shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored long-term at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
