Anti-IL-2Rγ Antibody

Produced in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal antibody specifically targets the interleukin-2 receptor gamma subunit (IL-2Rγ, also known as CD132). It is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and ELISA workflows with reactivity against human IL-2Rγ.

IL-2Rγ functions as the shared signaling chain for the receptors of IL-2, IL-4, IL-7, IL-9, IL-15, and IL-21, and is expressed on T lymphocytes, B cells, and natural killer (NK) cells. Mutations in the IL2RG gene are the underlying cause of X-linked severe combined immunodeficiency (XSCID), and reliable detection of IL-2Rγ is therefore relevant to studies of lymphocyte development, gamma-chain cytokine signaling, primary immunodeficiency, and immune regulation.

Each vial is supplied as 100 µl of liquid antibody, ready for direct use in immunoblotting, plate-based immunoassays, and similar immunodetection workflows. The unconjugated format supports pairing with HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies, giving flexibility across chemiluminescent western blots, ELISA plate setups, and immunofluorescence staining of cultured lymphoid cell lines or primary peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
