Anti-IL-29 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human cytokine IL-29 (interferon-lambda 1), this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as an unconjugated 100 µL aliquot for Western blot and ELISA workflows. IL-29 is a type III interferon involved in mucosal antiviral defense and is produced by virally infected epithelial and dendritic cells. The reagent recognizes endogenous human IL-29 and is used in research on hepatitis C, influenza, and other viral infections, as well as in studies of cytokine signaling through the IFNLR1/IL-10RB receptor complex. Storage at -20 °C is recommended in small aliquots to preserve antibody activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles; for short-term bench use, refrigerated storage is acceptable.
