Interleukin-12 subunit alpha (IL-12A p35) is a 35 kDa cytokine subunit that pairs with IL-12B p40 to form the heterodimeric IL-12 cytokine, a key driver of T helper 1 (Th1) immune responses and inducer of interferon-gamma. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the human IL-12A p35 subunit and is validated for western blot and ELISA workflows, supporting research into inflammatory signaling, infectious disease models, and immune cell differentiation.

Provided as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum in a single-use vial, the antibody reacts with human IL-12A p35 and is unconjugated, allowing flexible pairing with secondary reagents such as HRP, biotin, or fluorophore conjugates depending on the assay platform.

As a primary antibody reagent it is intended for research use only and supports detection of endogenous IL-12A p35 protein in lysates and recombinant samples. Suggested applications include western blot analysis of cell line lysates to identify the p35 band and ELISA-based quantification of IL-12A p35 expression. The rabbit host allows use of standard anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibodies, and the polyclonal nature provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the p35 subunit for robust signal across experimental conditions.
