Anti-IL-1α (F8) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against IL-1α and is validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. It is unconjugated and produced in rabbit, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples.

The antibody detects endogenous levels of IL-1α protein. It was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 91-140 of human IL-1α. The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2.

Characterization data include a molecular weight of approximately 17 kDa and purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE, following affinity purification from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen via affinity chromatography.
