Anti-IKK gamma (phospho Ser31) Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and is specific for IKK gamma only when phosphorylated at serine 31. The unconjugated IgG antibody has been validated for ELISA on human samples; an alternative formulation extends reactivity to rat and mouse and additionally validates Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, with no reported cross-reactivity.

The synthetic phosphopeptide LGEESpPLGKPA, coupled to KLH, was used as immunogen. The lyophilised preparation is supplied in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, and is reconstituted in double distilled water; an alternative liquid formulation is supplied in phosphate buffered saline containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. Purification employs protein G affinity chromatography for the lyophilised product, and antigen affinity chromatography on the immunizing phosphopeptide for the liquid format. The endogenous target protein has an apparent molecular weight of 48 kDa.

Both formats are shipped at 4 °C, aliquoted on arrival and held at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. Recommended dilutions for the liquid format are 1:500–1:1000 for Western blot, 1:50–1:100 for immunohistochemistry and 1:40,000 for ELISA.
