Anti-IKK a (Ab-23) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com directed against IKK a (Ab-23), validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. The unconjugated reagent is raised in rabbit and has been shown to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. It is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the region around amino acids 21–25 (L-G-T-G-G) of Human IKK a. Antibodies were generated by immunizing rabbits with the synthetic peptide coupled to KLH and purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific peptide. The antibody recognises endogenous levels of total IKKa protein. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
