Anti-IKK-γ (Ab-85) Antibody

Manufactured and distributed by Antibodies.com as part of their primary antibody range, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against IKK-γ (also known as IKBKG/NEMO) and is directed to a non-phosphopeptide region surrounding serine 85 of the human protein (immunogen sequence Q-A-S(p)-Q-R), making it well-suited for studies of total IKK-γ levels rather than the phospho-modified form. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in a ready-to-use liquid format consisting of Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, with 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as stabiliser, and is offered in pack sizes of 50 µl and 100 µl; the 50 µl format is provided here. It is recommended for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications on human samples, and validation data on the supplier page show a clean WB signal on extracts of HepG2 cells treated with Anisomycin (0.5 µM, 5 hours), demonstrating detection of endogenous IKK-γ.
