Anti-IKKβ (phospho-Y188) Antibody

This Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets IKKβ when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 188. It is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human IKKβ around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 188. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of IKKβ protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr188. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 86 kDa. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
