This polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets Ikaros (IKZF1), a zinc-finger transcription factor that plays a central role in lymphoid lineage commitment and hematopoietic differentiation. Supplied as an unconjugated reagent at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, it is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples.

Ikaros family members organize higher-order chromatin structure in developing lymphocytes and continue to regulate immune cell identity in mature populations, which is why this reagent is widely used by groups studying B- and T-cell maturation, thymocyte selection, and immune signaling pathways. Loss-of-function mutations in IKZF1 are linked to B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, making reliable detection of endogenous Ikaros protein a recurring need in leukemia research, transplant immunology, and studies of hematopoietic stem cell fate.

Packaged as 100 µl aliquots and stored frozen, the antibody is buffered in glycerol to protect activity through repeated freeze-thaw cycles and is intended for research use only.
