Raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, this polyclonal antibody targets endogenous IGLL1 (immunoglobulin lambda-like polypeptide 1), also known as CD179b, Ig lambda-5 and IGL1. Marketed by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for research use, it is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at roughly pH 7.6, with reported purity above 95% by SDS-PAGE. The reagent is unconjugated and validated for Western blotting (WB), where it detects the target at a molecular weight of approximately 25 kDa. It shows reactivity with human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of B-cell development and immunoglobulin gene rearrangement. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human IGLL1. For best preservation of activity, the antibody should be stored refrigerated (typically at 4 °C for short-term use or aliquoted and frozen at -20 °C for long-term storage), protected from repeated freeze–thaw cycles and from light. This reagent is intended for research purposes only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
