This Mouse monoclonal antibody, clone KT109, recognizes the human Immunoglobulin J chain (IGJ), a ~15 kDa polypeptide that links IgA and IgM monomers into polymeric assemblies during antibody secretion. The J chain is synthesized by plasma cells and serves as a reliable marker of terminal B-cell differentiation, making clone KT109 particularly useful for studies of mucosal immunity, MALT lymphoma, plasma cell biology, and immunoglobulin assembly pathways.
