Produced by Antibodies.com, the Anti-IGJ Antibody [KT108] is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 reagent raised against the human Immunoglobulin J chain, the small 137-amino-acid polypeptide that governs polymerisation of IgM pentamers and secretory IgA dimers in plasma cells. Supplied at 100 µg in a liquid format, this unconjugated antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human tissue sections, where it is widely used to identify J-chain-positive plasma cells in tonsillar, gut mucosal, and other lymphoid compartments, and to support phenotyping of B-cell neoplasms such as extranodal marginal-zone lymphoma. For optimal stability, aliquot the antibody on receipt and store at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity.
