Anti-IgG (Fc specific) Antibody

This unconjugated polyclonal secondary antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes the Fc fragment (constant region) of rat IgG, leaving the Fab antigen-binding domains free for downstream applications. Because the epitope maps to the conserved Fc portion, the reagent selectively detects intact IgG and exhibits minimal cross-reactivity with rat IgM or IgA, supporting clean signal development in ELISA and WB workflows.

Supplied as a liquid in a 200 µg vial, the antibody is ready to dilute into assay buffer. For immunoblotting, a starting dilution of 1:1000 to 1:5000 is commonly titrated; for ELISA plate capture or detection, 1:500 to 1:5000 is typical. Aliquot upon first thaw and store frozen at -20 °C in single-use portions to limit freeze-thaw damage; refrigerated storage is acceptable for active working aliquots.
