Anti-IgG Antibody

Distributed by Antibodies.com, this mouse monoclonal antibody is provided as a PE-labelled reagent directed against the bovine CD86 cell surface antigen. It is recommended for flow cytometry and has been validated for use with bovine and sheep samples. CD86 is expressed by dendritic cells, activated macrophages, and activated B cells, and plays an important role in co-stimulation of T cells during the primary immune response.

The antibody, clone IL-A190, is of the IgG1 isotype and is supplied in lyophilised form in phosphate-buffered saline containing 1% BSA, 5% sucrose, and 0.09% sodium azide. Purification is performed by Protein A affinity chromatography of tissue culture supernatant. Each vial is reconstituted with 1 ml of distilled water, and the working concentration is reconstitution dependent. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is neat, applying 10 µl of the working dilution to label 1×10⁶ cells in 100 µl.

The PE fluorophore has excitation and emission maxima at 565 nm and 578 nm, respectively. Lyophilised material should be stored at 4 °C; reconstituted material should be stored undiluted at 4 °C and not frozen. The product is photosensitive and should be protected from light; if a precipitate is present, microcentrifugation before use is recommended.
