Anti-IGF2R (Phospho-Ser2409) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against IGF2R when phosphorylated at serine 2409. It is unconjugated and validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human and mouse samples.

According to the manufacturer, specificity is directed to endogenous levels of IGF2R only when phosphorylated at serine 2409. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide sequence around the phosphorylation site, Q-D-S(p)-E-D, derived from human IGF2R. Antibodies were raised by immunizing rabbits with the synthetic phosphopeptide–KLH conjugate and purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific phosphopeptide; non-phospho-specific antibodies were removed by chromatography against the non-phosphopeptide.

The reagent is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without magnesium and calcium ions), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Recommended dilutions are 1:500–1:1000 for Western blotting and 1:50–1:100 for immunohistochemistry.
