Anti-IGF-IR Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit-derived primary antibody is raised against the insulin-like growth factor I receptor (IGF-IR) and is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen derived from a synthesized peptide spanning the non-phosphorylation site of Y1161 in human IGF-IR. Supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, at a working concentration of 1 mg/ml, this polyclonal and unconjugated reagent reliably detects endogenous levels of IGF-IR in human, mouse, and rat samples and has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows. Recommended storage is at -20 °C, under which conditions the antibody remains stable for up to one year. The reagent is intended strictly for research use and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
